Both pharmacopeias and industry standards set stringent, staged conductivity limits for purified water, defined across different temperature conditions.

In this test, a benchtop ultrapure water conductivity meter was used to analyze the conductivity of purified water samples. The working principle of the conductivity meter is based on Ohm’s law and the theory of solution conductivity. By measuring the conductive capacity of ions in an aqueous solution, it indirectly reflects the total ion concentration.
